Advance Your Diving Skills With PADI Advance Open Water in Florida
PADI Advanced Open Water the next step to enjoying diving by increasing skills of the Diver. The class consists of 5 adventure dives from PADI Adventure in Diving with Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation required. We highly recommend Peak Performance Buoyancy and Night Diver leaving the last Adventure choice to the students.
Continuing your diving education with a PADI Advanced Open Water class AOW is a great way to enjoy your future diving experiences. With a PADI Instructor educating while having fun increases you knowledge and enjoyment of your dive. The AOW Class gives an opportunity to try a portion of five dive specialties. Don’t forget to add a Nitrox specialty class and dive nitrox on your Advanced Open Water class.
Offering a multitude of diving specialties American Pro Diving Center a five star PADI facility can accommodate a single diver or bring a friend diver. All the specialty dives are very knowledgeable, fun, and a great diving experience with hands on training that only a five star PADI facility offers.
What to Bring:

- Review and be prepared to sign the PADI Medical Release Statement, PADI Standard Safe Diving Practices, and PADI Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement, all available in the Student Record File Folder. Refer to the forms link provided below, and don’t hesitate to reach out to us for any clarification or queries.
- Bring Signed Medical Release Statement from a Physician if you have any yes answers to the Medical Release Statement(see the forms link below and call us with any and all questions)
- To participate in the PADI Open Water (OW) Class, complete the PADI “Go Diving” E-Learning or manual, consisting of five chapters. Following the readings, submit your responses to the Knowledge Reviews found at the end of each section. Record your answers directly in the book or print them out if using the E-Learning platform.
- To enroll in the PADI Advanced Open Water (AOW) class, kindly review specific chapters outlined in the PADI Adventures in Diving manual (please consult our staff for further details). Students are required to present a valid Open Water (OW) Certification Card from an accredited scuba training organization. Should you have any inquiries, feel free to contact us.
- Have all home study work done before start of class.
- Bring all of your PADI Education materials to class each day.
- Bring a dive watch. (Start good diving habits.)
- Bring a swim suit
- Bring a towel and dry clothes to change into after the dives. The boat may get wet so protect wanting dry items with a dry bag. Remember any items on the deck of the boat will get wet when everyone returns from the water. See your captain for the dry areas of the boat.
- Students must provide their own transportation and meals.
- The private marina in Crystal River, where the boat is launched for Open Water (OW) dives, provides a parking lot and an on-site convenience store. While there is a $5 fee per vehicle, the advantage is a spacious parking area. Payments can be made at their store, and detailed instructions for directions and parking areas are provided by the Instructor.
- Rainbow River is a County Park, where a fee of $5 per person is applicable for parking and to access their well-maintained facilities with restrooms.
